# Map SDK v3

Map SDK v3 · Released 7 Sept 2026 · Feature

Version 3 of the Map SDK. Availability is now counted per charge point rather than per location, pins show at a glance whether a site is free, and prices are available on the map API. Opt in per embed, so existing embeds are unchanged until they move to v3.

## What changed

### Added
- New pins: a coloured ring for whether charging is available now, with a glyph inside for how many charge points are free (a green bolt when all are, otherwise a count like 2/4). Clusters carry their count and split the ring when the sites inside differ.
- Availability counted per charge point, not per location.
- Prices available on the map API.
- Tailored views by context: an operator can see and filter by connector status (faulted, out of service, in use); a driver-facing map shows what is free.

## Rollout

Opt-in per embed. Existing embeds are unchanged until they move to v3.
