# Bulk export of billable items

Billable items can now be exported for a whole invoice type and month in one file, instead of opening and exporting each invoice by hand. Every row carries its invoice ID, so the data cross-references straight back to the invoice.

## What changed

### Added
- Bulk export of billable items across every invoice of a chosen type and billing month, as CSV or Excel (.xlsx). The Excel format avoids the usual CSV problems with decimal separators and numbers read as text.
- Each row includes its invoice ID for cross-referencing, and the fields match the per-invoice billable-item export.

### Improved
- Export options on the Invoices page are gathered into a single, clearly labelled Exports dropdown.

## Rollout

Available to any user with access to the Invoices screen. A bulk export covers one invoice type and one month, runs in the background, and can take a while for large billing periods, so it is best to stay on the page until the file arrives.
