# Revenue sharing: fixed price per kWh with a dynamic remainder

Platform v26.5.3 · Released 13 May 2026 · Feature

Revenue sharing gains a second way to split energy cost. One party is paid a set price per kWh on every session, and the other automatically receives whatever is left of the tariff. The margin holds without reconfiguration when the tariff changes, including with scheduled or dynamic pricing.

## What changed

### Added
- A 'price per kWh + remainder' split for energy cost, alongside the existing percentage split: one party gets a set amount per kWh, the other gets the rest of the tariff.
- Either party can hold the per-kWh rate or the remainder, in a priority order set by the operator.

### Note
- The platform never pays out more than it collected. If the tariff falls below the fixed per-kWh amount, that party is paid only up to the tariff and the remainder party receives nothing.
- The per-kWh rate is not checked against the charging station tariff at setup, so it should be confirmed for each location.

## Rollout

Available as an add-on, enabled on request. It applies to sessions after activation, not retroactively. Existing percentage splits are unchanged.
